wrong/right head gasket?

DX engine now TSR 1.9 Donnington block

Can someone help please..

I have a TSR 1.9 DX block, so I'm building an engine for my golf with it. I contacted TSR and asked for a steel head gasket to suit - they have sent me an elring 627.811.
When laying this on the block something doesn't look right, some holes are partially obscured and one of the small m6 holes at the back is covered over too.
Google tells me this isn't really the right gasket for my engine, but I assumed TSR gave me this one because I have the oversized pistons?

Any advice? Thanks

So you can see above, standard 026..gasket looks ok, but new mls one partially blocking these holes, anyone know if this is ok..what are these holes, oilways?
Not sure what to do..

I personally wouldn't use it, as I have seen that those type of issues work or not work.  

I would prefer the red lipped one over the other…..
Blocking off passages is never a good thing…IMHO.

Well, the nice man at TSR suggested looking at the head side of things, as you can see from second photo, the holes dont line up anyway!..so i guess this means the gasket is ok to use, not sure why VW would do that, it is a 373F head..onwards and upwards :-)

Theres no issue with that gasket. Theres not a huge flow through those smaller holes anyway. Just enough not to get hot spots.

as above, this is normal for MLS type gaskets as used on the later 2.0 8v/16v (which is what 627.811 is for, VW part number 048103383D)
