Where can I get one of these

Hi all, I need a new one of these, I presume it’s a coolant temp sensor housing…. any ideas where to get one?

The only one I can find on ebay at the moment is item number 193420580237.

Search for part 037 121 132 B, try to get one with the o rings for the sensors included otherwise you'll have to buy them separate. Don't use the old o rings.

It's a coolant flange.
Black sensor is for your temperature gauge.
Grey sensor controls the automatic choke.
Red sensor controls the inlet manifold heating element.

Go to a breakers and look for a 85-89ish Cabriolet or Golf and look for the metal versions use the same years sensors and you never have a broken one..



If you need more sensors.


I replaced the plastic ones on my 93, and 92 Cabriolet as I was tired of having to replace them….
