Webber carb

Hi guys ive noticed that the updated webber carb on my 1.8 auto cabriolet doesnt fit the filter housing correctly' i presume there were probably some king of clips on the old pierburg  carb any thoughts lads

The air filter is fitted with a hex head bolt/washer to a bracket on top of the carb. It doesn't have the clip as per the original.  Iirc it does also sit a bit proud of the actual carb top unless there's something wrong with mine.

theres 3 bits you need, first theres an adaptor ring bolted to the carb to get the air box sat snug. then a Z shaped metal bracket bolted to the top, and a special bolt with a fat head which screws to the bracket thru the hole in the top of the airbox which used to be for the CO adjustment
