The Rubber tracks can get dirty, as well as bind the glass.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

Where as you are taking the weight of the glass going up When the spring on the winding mech gets full of crud, it can bind….
Oh and be warned, most bolts and nuts holding the rails are an adjustment of one way or the other….
Watch the movement of the glass as it winds down and up it shoudl come up and down parallel and not dip one way or the other, the sad part is that the nylon bits are hard to find, if they are worn, but a good cleaning of the mech can solve a few issues. I have also found that a Dosing syringe for the kiddies, when filled with a good Axle Grease (I use Marine Grade on my cabbies as it is more water resilient) can shoot tiny bits of grease in really tight areas and limits the amount that I get it places I don't want.
