Vdo gauges

Want to check a few things before I do a buy, I've got a caddy with a 1.6td engine in, want to get my VDO Gauges working.


Been looking on heritage and I think I've got the correct two sensors:  
Am I correct in thinking that the oil pressure sensor goes in the existing hole in the side of the head where the current pressure sensor is, and the wire goes on one pin then my wire for the gauge goes on the other?

Then the oil temp sensor I'm assuming that's the correct one as it's the only one listed on heritage, but where can I actually screw it in? Will it have to go in the sump?

Well the 1.6td is going to blow that can right out of the head, well the Diaphragm.   You have to get one that is rated at about 200psi. IIRC my 1.5 diesel idled at about 50-60 psi and higher when cold.
