1.8t not sitting right

I have just fitted my 1.8t in my caddy with a 02j gearbox on the 02j specific epytec mounts, but, as you can see by the photo, something not quite right.
The hole engine sits way too far forward with the original rear mount all the way back.
Do i need to change the rear mount for a GTI one, or are they the same as the caddys? 
Any help will be much appreciated 

You did loosen all the mounts, then shake the engine 3 or 4 times, then let is rest as that is usually the issue with alignment.

Then the Front mount is it on, as I usually only see that mount stretch when I  am dropping or lowering the transmission or mount. Never when I have finished the installation.

Last thing, you did try to take the Pressure off the engine and move the mount over in the ears?
