Wind Deflection

I’ve got lexan windows with sliders, they are great for what I need but so noisy, I was thinking about wind deflectors to buffer some of the surface air away - VW Heritage have these A-Pillar trims https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/171853293294-a-pillar-trims-pair.html

Are they actually for deflection or just a trim piece like the waistline trim? Does anyone have them and do they reduce wind on driver/pass windows?

A good few years ago I bought a new windscreen seal from VW and when I asked about it they told me they only had the one for a car without wind deflectors, I just took it and left the deflectors off so I think you need the right seal to fit them.

Thanks [mention]cedar [/mention] when you had them did you notice less wind noise if you had a window open compared to when you took them off?
