Hard to find Input shaft push rod seal

Post

Hi! I'm based in the UK trying to locate a very rare part for my Mark1 GTI. Its a tiny rubber seal with a spring round it. It seals the clutch push rod inside the shaft spline. I'm including pics so you can see what it looks like. I've tried VW heritage, and main dealers with no luck. I'm hoping someone in Europe may be able to help me! Has anyone else run into this problem? Maybe there is an equivilant o ring you can replace it with!?

Many thanks

Check the size as this should be just the seal.

I got mine from here https://www.classic-vw.co.uk/020-gearbox-push-road-seal-020311108a-5146-p.asp

I replaced the bronze bushing, push rod, output shaft seal, and release bearing at the same time j ust to make life easier. Pretty sure I got all the parts for. Classic vw. Pics in my build thread somewhere!
