Cabriolet door seals

Missing trim

IMG_2035.jpg Hi I have recently noticed that when I open either door on my cabriolet it looks like the little part of the door seal has been cut (pictures attached). Short of buying two new complete door seals is there an alternative seal/rubber that I can modify to fit? Thanks IMG_1989.jpg

You could try, but that seal helps to channel the water away from the interior as it hooks to the edge of the door.

That is the only seal that I don't have a picture of.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Briano1234 do you mean 171-837-913/F or https://www.werk34.de/en/upper-door-frame-seal-837.171.913-e.html if I cut them down to size?

So this won't solve the problem?
Is the only solution a full new door seal as the tail will come attached?

No, a tin tops seal isn't the same as the Cabriolet.
