Does anyone know why there would be a section of the roof trim missing here? It is the same both sides and be interested to know if there is a part I can easily replace this or if it is normal as looks like something has broken off as edges are rough.
1985 mk1 golf GTI
Many thanks

They can get caught as the hood open and closes.
I can get new ones but only sell them in a set of 4.
And they’re not cheap.

Is it part of the fixing for the roof or just aesthetic? Not too fussed about it but something maybe to do eventually.
Are you able to find out prices for me or show me what it should look like as normal? Thanks

Order Carefully.
ps, when your top is new and the sides are set and cables tight you don't really see them, but only the "b" pillar part.
When tops are old, and or the cables not taught then you see them.
