Wheel refurb

looking for recommendations for alloy wheel refurbishment for my Mk1 Pirelli Alloys in or near Bucks/Oxon?

We had our Cabby Sportline BBS RA's done at JP Alloys in Cannock, superb job - highly recommended. Sorry it is not closer to you. It is finding someone to take on the two colours that is hard.

try bim steels on facebook..  have to add shipping costs in price of refurb im afaid.

Are the single A or AA as theres some AA already refurbed on ebay.. maybe get them whilst finding a refurber locally.   are they rimmed? or just peeling? you could do 90% of refurb yourself  stripping down rubbing… and the such to  save costs at refurbish shop

Get some thinners /paint stripper try getting as much off by soaking and light scraping .

Emery tape 120 to 600 grit
some filler for little marks  or epoxy/alu paste
primer spray and contrast spray

then give primer rub down until contrast spray gone  with 400 grit ready for painting or powder.

Give it a go whilst in lock down…. a good finish with own hand will make you feel proud

Peter Bartley at Langley Autocraft, Herts did mine. 

He specialises in classic Porsche restos but has worked on all my cars.

He hated doing the p-slots but made a nice job of them
