Fuel help

Hi guys, just joined 😊

I'm about to buy a mk1 gti cabriolet. Unfortunately the owner has recently passed away. I'm not sure if has been converted or if thats even required.( I assume not)

Will I be safe to put unleaded in from the off (I know it was running back in February)

Welcome along Andy,

All mk1's can run unleaded with no p[problems.

Where possible use the Super fuel rather than standard fuel.

They really run well on 110/130 AVgas.   . At least my Rover 3500s did
