Online maintenance manual ans parts catalogues

Post

Hi I've a 1993 Sportline cabriolet and would like a comprehensive repair and parts manual which actually covers my model. Hence I was assuming it has to be one from VW.

Has anyone got a positive experience of online manuals or can recommend something covering the Sportline?

A 1992-1993 Sportine is probably not the easiest since I've yet to see a correct system and component description braking system.

Cheers

Mk2 Scirocco Haynes manual should cover the running gear and brakes as they are the same cars underneath. Mk2 Scirocco were also in production till 1992/93.

What is it you wanted to know about the brakes?

Part numbers and pictures etc can be found here…

Get thee a Bentley / Haynes don't dink with anything else.

Those are excellent resources, the Bentley is really for LHD cars the Haynes for all mk1's is good.

I kept a 81 Rabbit Diesel Running with nothing but a Haynes for 20 years.

I looked at the online manuals above and they were more of a parts breakdown.

For that I use the online ETKA

A great Cabriolet resource is www.cabby-info.com
