Rear Inner Wheel Arch

Post

I am in the middle of restoring my 1982 Driver. My rear wheel tub (driver's side) was badly corroded so I have chosen to replace it. I have drilled out a number of spotwelds along the floor pan, chassis leg and also cut the outer arch away as it was rotten also.

The b*****d still won't budge. Is it bonded to the outer skin the fuel fill hole area?

Anyone have any ideas?

Check my build thread mate, I did both of mine. I would go into detail but I'm at the airport, off on my travels👍 Not sure what page but it's fairly near the front!!

It's not bonded to the outer skin, although there could be a bit seam sealer keeping hold of it. Try getting some sort of blade between the skins!!

Aren't there a few spot welds around the filler neck hole?
