TT interior in a mk1 golf

Hi all, I have a 1991 golf GTI cabriolet and was wondering if anyone has put a TT interior in theirs and was it easy enough to do at home. Any alterations that needed doing or was it just straight fit. I know the fronts would need to have the bases welded on but what about the rears? Anybody have a step by step that they have. Any advice is much appreciated and thanks in advance.
