Speakers

Hi folks can anyone recommend some 6x4 speakers that will fit in the door pockets without any modifications to either the pockets or the doors.

Alpine 4625 are great speakers if you’re not wanting to spend £££. You can normally pick them up for under £30 a set.

Yes. I have 2 pairs in mine, they go in the door pockets as a straight swap and same in the rear.

I put pioneers in mine 300w in the front 250w in the back nice and easy sounds great. Sorry I cant remember the exact model number

Also got a set in my car, they fit with no mod needed, they do lack some bass but a sub in boot over comes that problem…

Quick update. Fitted the speakers. They did catch a bit between the sides of the speakers and the door pocket but not enough to stop them going in. There wasn't enough meat left on the posts to use them stupid nuts so made some collars and used screws. Also sorted the bodged wiring with connectors.  All good now, not the best sound but not bad.
