Setting idle and mixture solex pic 6 1.3

Hello chaps, car was running rough latley so changed dizzy cap , rotor arm, condenser , points, plugs, car running/starting much better now, any advice on setting up the idle speed and mixture, ive misplaced my haynes manual.  Its currently idling at 1600 revs! Ive tried turning idle screw left and right but the revs stay the same arrrghhh! Any help much appreciated ….
