Removing the front carpet, how to get the round clips off.

Post

As per title, struggling like **** to get the round clips off the dowels that hold the front carpet in place high up in the footwells.
Can anyone suggest the best way to remove them?
Cheers.

A panel popper and a Pry under works for me as well as using a pair of pliers and unscrewing them.

You can cut them off if you have a good pair of diagonal pliers.

They are a pain and are intended to be hard to remove.
I have in the past also worked a pair of flatblades and levers under them and pried them off as well.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Thin nose pliers, open up fully, grip around the edges of the clip and wiggle whilst pulling did it for me!
