What is the easiest way to remove them?
Does anyone have any helpful tips on pulling them out? Got running issues - I reckon they are blocked as car won't stay running. They seem to be stuck solid! I've sprayed them up with WD-40 to leave overnight to try and ease them up. This is on a standard 1.8 GTI 8v engine from my Cabriolet.
Also does anyone know if 16v injector valves would fit?
Thanks in advance!!

Is it a DX engine? I could pull mine out by pulling on the pipes while levering a screwdriver under the union. I did end up making a tool out of some 2mm plate about 20mm wide. I drilled a 10mm (I think) hole in one end and then cut it out to a slot to go under the injector. I then folded the metal into an L shape with the slot in the small end of the L and then drilled a series of small holes and made them into a slot in the long part for a screwdriver to fit in and it works a treat! They only push fit into a rubber O-ring but if it's gone hard it may be making them hard to pull out!
I don't know if 16V injectors fit. I bought mine from a seller on eBay £35 each from a sell called tierod69 or B and B components (they are the same seller) and they came with an O-ring.
If you want a picture of the tool I made let me know and I'll post one up. It probably won't be until tomorrow evening though!
Here's a link to the injectors I bought.

Thanks for the response, sorry for the lack of communication my end! Ohhh yeah if you could show me what type of tool you made that would be great, very interested to see that!
I've had a go but no avail! Decided to spray some lubricant onto the unions/rubber ring and leave for 24 hours in the hope that it'll help!

I drilled a 10mm hole and then cut it into a slot with an angle grinder, the slot is about 12mm deep. The small part of it is about 20mm, the long part is about 45mm. The slots are about 4mm by 13mm.Took about 10 minutes to make, I wish I'd made one from the start! Here's some pics, hope it helps!

Place a piece of wood under your pry bar to prevent denting your Valve cover.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
Where are my DIY Links?

Good point, although mine popped out quite easily so there was no chance of denting the rocker cover it sounds as though samsigns might be a different matter!
