Redoing Electrics

Hi Everyone,

I've decided to re do all the wiring on my mk1 1988 GTI convertible due to a bunch of cables that are all over the place looking like they are falling apart and it's just a mess. I've had a look on the internet, and I can't seem too fine a copy of the wiring loom or a wiring diagram, if anyone knows where to find this or got a copy themselves would they be able to send it over or guide me in the right direction.

if not, I'll be posting my progress here and making my own wiring diagram for anyone else

Wiring Diagrams are in the Back of the Bentley, and or Haynes manuals.

The add on stuff like DRL, A/C are after teh main wiring diagrams.
