Rear top mounts

Good evening all, 

I have fitted some new coilovers onto my car. At the same time I have changed the top mounts on front and rear. 
The front has been fine.
The rear however, It just doesn't feel as though the upper mount is "squished" down enough into the locating cup.

The top nut is nipped right up to Other nut at the top of the coilover.
It's as the the new upper and lower top mounts aren't quite big enough. 
They are from VW Heritage. Has anybody else used these?

Put the dished washer the other way around

I've have tried it the other way around, and it's still no different.
