Is everything else working how it should, if so don't worry about them…?
What's the brown earth wire doing on the oil pressure sensor on the side of the head in picture 1, as I don't think it should be there or do you have a extra oil pressure gauge fitted?
Electrics aren't my best subject so only a guess for picture 3 and what's fitted to my cars…. It's a factory install for front fog lights, VW left a cable there on all cars but I think mine is a yellow and yellow and white cable?
Briano1234 or rubjonny will know, I'm sure they will pop up soon and tell you.

Re:
Cheers. In the first photo that brown looking wire is to the coolant pipe (side female spade conector). But i do have a TIM oil pressure anyways. Everything works apart from when the keys turned with the engine off i dont have any dash lights (battery, oil etc) apart from the green back lights. Also left hand parking lights doent work.mark1gls said

Random thing my revs slighty kick up when the indicator is on left or right signal.
As my other post i've now got the fuel, temp and revs working great. Was the 10v unit, 12v in joint to board was broken.

I should be able to clear my Garage tomorrow but it will be latter in the afternoon here.
I have the 85-93 Cabriolet Bentley on my Puter, as I broke my Bently's binding from use, so I decided to cut all the pages out, and Scan them in to a PDF at where I worked…But my Haynes is on a bottom shelf of my Garage, and behind a bunch of things that I moved to make way for a Re-finish of a Table…
a2resource.com is a good place to visit.
Central Electric 1
But it lists the pinout/wire color at the fuse panel
As in my 93 Cabriolet uses the red/white combo on the Starter, and fan relay to fan this is from off the top of my head.
Since a couple of the connectors look to have never been plugged in to something as the dust/dirt is years old so they may be for things that were considered add ons from the oem purchase as in "Fog lights" A/C and the like.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
Where are my DIY Links?

Photo2 - red/white is inlet manifold heater. female if black is probably ignition live feed for the old 2e2 carb electrics, mostly gone now you have a weber carb but if it is ignition live it goes to the 2nd pin on the thermoswitch above
Photo3 - front fogs
