Oil Recommendation

Hi All,

Just about to get my mk1 serviced, it's running a 2.0l 8v TSR Donnington engine.  Any suggestions on the best oil to use?

I'd also welcome any recommendations on who's got the best deals on for oil.

Might be worth giving TSR a phone call and asking what they recommend?

To be honest any decent semi or fully synthetic oil is just fine. I have TSR 'Brands Hatch' and its been ragged all its life on Synthetic and no problems. VW do their brand which is fine.
