Hi folks, looking to buy a new oil pump for my mk1. I have seen cheaper ones at 30 to 40 quid ish (topran, jp group) and others twice the the price (febi). With the oil pump being such a critical component I don’t want to buy junk. What are your opinions and experience with any of these brands? Is it worth paying the extra money.
Thanks Steve.
Thanks Steve.

I got a Febi Bilstein one from Autodoc.co.uk, as you say it is not a part you should buy at the cheapest price. I am not convinced by Topran stuff personally, even Meyle is questionable. Never had a problem with any Febi stuff.

Thanks for the reply Pistol, that's not a bad price for a Febi. Most Febi ones I have seen are 70 to 80 quid! I'll go with the Febi one, like you said they are a good brand.
