Pictures included- please post pictures of your oil breather pipes as mine are wrong ? I can't have my car running right till I get them right

Been to see a mobile tuner today.. he took a look at my oil breather pipes and he told me that they are on wrong, he couldn't complete the job on my car.. it's idling high and if we slightly restrict the pipes it slows down…if I place my finger over the top of the rocker cover breather hole it kills the engine?!
Please post pictures of you mk1 golf gti 8v pipes so I can copy? And or part numbers etc where I can buy new bits from  IMG_3592.JPG IMG_3593.JPG

Can't help, I rock 90is Digifants.

If you remove a hose and plug in one side only, then that is a Vacuum or air leak on the other, and these little critters do not like vacuum leaks.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

It's doing my head in… I've checked all over for leaks, I've been told my oil breather is wrong. It's constantly sucking hard ! I bet there was something in line with it before hand ? I really need some pictures of pipes brother lol

look at www.cabby-info.com.

She had hose layouts for different model years.
I know that on my 90, there is a PCV valve of sorts off the valve cover that plugs into the hoses.

I do also know that there is a "Special" connector that has a restrictor on it on the pre-90's that isn't on the cars I drive. I have heard of cars running LUMPY if the connector with the restrictor is replaced and the replacement doesn't have the restrictor.
