New to this

Hi all I recently got myself a 1.6 1984 Cabby and have been enjoying the last of the sunshine these last few weeks.

On my return from a drive out in the heatwave this evening I noticed a leak and after opening the bonnet there was a steady stream of coolant being sprayed out on the drivers side. Now it looks to me to be core plug or freeze plug.

It appears to be an easy fix but does anyone have any advice or tips on how to do it.

And anyone have a link to the right sized plug?

Have a look on ETKA.  There are three on the manifold and they were available from VW when I last purchased them. Looks like your coolant system could do with some tlc.
