New ignition coil = no rev counter or fuel pump relay

So I fitted a new Bosch ignition coil, this one specifically
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BOSCH-0221122023-IGNITION-COIL/303441489779?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Since doing so, I've lost my fuel pump and rev counter (i.e. the fuel pump primes ok on ignition switch, but when I try to fire it up, the pump doesn't run, and also the rev counter is dead). I know there is a pulse signal from the coil to the TCI module which runs to the fuel pump relay and then to the rev counter, but I have this connected up as per before.
Have I got the wrong coil? Or what else can it be? I will revert to the old coil to prove the wiring is ok, but I have no reason to suspect it isn't as it worked before I changed the coil.
Cheers Peter

As long as you're sure you have connected correctly and connections are sound, I would've thought it should work. Is the new coil producing a spark? A 12v coil is pretty much a 12v coil. There may be differences in the primary and secondary winding resistance specs that could stop it from working but doubt it.

It's definitely producing a spark, car fires up and runs no problem, I've just lost the rev counter and have to bypass the fuel pump relay.

Are you 100% about your wiring.
Green wire and red/black to terminal 1 or (-)
Blacks to terminal 15 or(+).
If you have a multimeter check for continuity between red/black at coil and connector 5/31b on fuel pump relay socket on fuse box.

Wiring issue, not coil issue.
I think there's 2 types of coil, for points ignition or electronic ignition.

Cheers Steve, not a wiring fault, but not the coil either. The 2 pin terminal on the new coil was different size to the original, so even though it felt like the white plug located ok on the terminals, it was actually only on 1 of them. Swapped for the original terminal and rev counter and fuel pump relay working again as normal.
