Mk2 seats in a mk1, what adaption is needed?

Hello all,

I'm going to change my seats in the mk1 as they are immaculate and I want to keep them that way for show days. Im looking to get a set of front seats and a rear bench that will go straight in so was thinking of mk2 seats. So my quandary is will they fit? What adaption will I need if they don't and is there anything that will go straight in?

There is some very good quality ones out there…
 

not sure about rear bench but fronts will go straight in alternatively look for some mk2 scirocco one's sit a lot lower also
