MK1 GTI water pump hose ID

Can anyone help with a link to the correct replacement hose for this straight hose from water pump outlet to (i think) metal pipe?

Seem to be a bit of confusion with cabriolet and carburettor engines when i spoke to B and B.

Heater by-pass hose.

The confusion is there is 2 different hoses as later cars with an water cooled oil cooler has a different hose as the cooler takes it feed from that hose.
