I have 2 covers one has the corner covers for the frame and one doesn't.
It isn't totally needed, and the cover works fine with out them.
The issue is that they are part of the boot cover, and I see a listing in the ETKA for 155871127B left and 155871128B right both are NLA and there isn't a clear picture to say that it is the correct piece that you are looking for.
I once found a Ratty cover at a wrecking yard, but that one as well was missing the plastic bits.

There are 2 different types i believe.. the other types don't have the 'split' in the middle & the joining side directly above is the same as the top side if that makes sense… Where the part number is the rounded plastic it's the same opposite not 'split' plastic. So as Briano1234 said it could be for the rear of the tonneau by the boot/rear quarter & not over the hinge fold by the hood release… just check to make sure
