Missing front engine mount on my 1.6 GTI

Bought MK1 Gti and found out the front engine mount is missing:(
Any one know where i could get one? are they different to the small block MK1's mounts as i may be able to get hold of one of those.

Cheers,
Lewis

The link above shows the mount which fits to the engine, there is also a rubber bush which fits on the end then there is a bracket which fits onto the front of the car. Are you missing everything or just the mount on the engine?.

Yeah i have ordered the rubber mount and the bracket on the front of the car is still there thankfully. Order the front mount from the ebay link above. Just need to see if the bolts are missing now too. If they are anyone know where could get them?

Cheers for the info and that link mate!

If you after 22-27 on the diagram you quoted, you would need. If you buy these don't go to VW, just ebay the sizes (not to tell you how to or anything  ;) )

22   N  0403331   hexagon bolt   M12X88     x1
23   N  0120424   spring ring   12             x 1
24   N  0110304   hexagon nut   M12     x 1
25   N  01047211   hexagon bolt   M10X85     x1
26   N  0120113   spring ring   10              x1
27   N  10155207   hexagon nut   M10      x1

I have pulled the small block from my car and most likely have these nuts & bolts laying around. Would need to check in the garage, but can post them to you if it would make it easier to find?

1 of the bolts is 1 which holds the starter motor on.

I found this page on here that mentions engine mounts that it uses the same bolts as the starter motor?

https://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/index.php?page=cedi&type=misc&id=26%2F3%2F4%2F126

So looking at diagram, it shows two engine mounts '18' and '19'. The engine mount i need is '18'
so i think i may need bolt '20' for this?

Which would be M10x135?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK2-GOLF-Bolt-Allen-Key-Head-M10x135-Engine-Mount-N0447601-/181529942121

May be completely wrong.
