There's a very specific guide on the forum somewhere but it'll have Pirelli P-slot alloys (14" with part number ending in 'A'), leather bound steering wheel rim, EW chassis, sunroof, dimpled door pins and it'll be late 1983 registration (I think Aug 83 or later).

and sun roof…..
1983 Mars Red 1.8 Golf GTI
1987 Alpine White 1.8 Clipper Cabriolet
The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Doesn't sound like a Campaign. I wouldn't worry about it though, there's no difference in the cars themselves they just have a few run-out options added to help them sell before the Mk2 came along. The most important thing is you've got a Mk1 Golf GTi…..which is awesome

chassis can be DW or EW, the important part is the correct option codes on the boot sticker and factory fitted sunroof.
fact yours has aftermarket one tells you it wasn't a campaign

factory sunroof is a metal slide only, if its a metal tilt+slide its a scirocco/audi replacement. if its a glass one then its dealer fit
