LHD clutch cable

Hi all,

I’m currently in the process of purchasing all parts for a 02J conversion, I’ve decided to keep it cable but I’m struggling to find a clutch cable that fits to the 02J actuator for a 92 LHD Cabrio.

Any info would be appreciated.

Do you know the standard part number for the clutch cable for mk1 1989 cabriolet? I need a LHD one for my rebuild and there seems to be a heap of varying lengths. Not sure what length I need.

just found out I apparently have a scirroco cable in my cabriolet. p/n 531 721 335 and its 885mm. Also i believe the cabriolet part is 171 721 335 which comes in at 800mm. I did see another part which was 795mm i think which is close to yours but dont know the part number for that. Does yours have a part numebr on it? thanks

Mine is a repro and not oem, but they list the oem equivalent as 171721335E,  internal / external 794 / 533mm

What do you mean by internal and external?
