Is this Mk2 16v servo or not?

Post

I bought it recently and im fitting it today but I cant seem to get the clevis pin off?
The original pin from the original servo came off easy.
I remember reading that I could tap a thread to make the original pin fit on but thought I'd check first.
Could someone help please, thanks

A google of the part number on it suggests T4.

If you can thread the rod and it's the same length as the original, you're all good!

When you return the MC to the Booster Take caution. Center the servo pin in the MC Cup. Tighten both nuts down equally that is 10 turns on left nut, 10 turns on right…..
DO NOT TIGHTEN IT ONE SIDE FULLY THEN THE  OTHER else you will offcentercock the center pin
and possibly break it out of the finger locks that affix it to the booster diaphragm.

Form the Photo that mc/ to servo looks 180 out as I have only seen the booster vacuum line at the upper left to the MC.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

If there is something you can screw up with a MK1 I have done it.  To recover from the effup with no or little cost is a great thing.  WARNING others to stop them from making your EFFups is the purpose of these forums……

Not every one has my tools to repair effups…. But I have been fixing things with Bailing wire SuperGlue and Epoxy, forever….

Hahaa, love it!
I managed to get a local garage to run the thread down the stud.  Off to my garage now to fit it along with the ms and then connect the brake pipes to the ms.
Cheers
