Intake Manifold Heater not working

Hi im in need of some help intake manifold heater is get no power to it i have fitted a brand new relay but still nothing
i have also found no power at fuse 5
any ideas would be great
 

What year car have you got?

It is a mk1 caddy 1988  
And I have ordered a new gray Thermal Switch and a new relay 42 

Well on mine which is an 89, I'm sure the sensor that controls the manifold heater is the red one. The main feed to the relay and onto the heater is not fused. The circuit that controls the relay is fused using No17 10A. Have you got any pics of the sensors?

I think the relay you need is No1 not 42.

Hi will send some photos of the  sensors tomorrow I have got a red and grey sensor  I have got a a new relay 1 as well but I'm  only getting power to one side of the relay I was not sure if relay 42  send power to relay 1  telling to  heat the manifold 🤔 and I will have a look at fuse number 17 tomorrow
