This allows the Rear Cable to Pass through the Material with out bunching up. If you have the cut then stuff it up there.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Thank you for that reply had a look at the link very useful info, I'm not sure if the material is wrong like you say flap I have folded out I can't get it to go up there properly, do these pictures help you at all? Just to me it looks like the actual metal is bent outwardsBriano1234 said
You have to make a Bisected cut to the seam.

Don't have a picture but you use a "WIRE Coat Hanger"
Cut a length from the corner to past the bump about 2 inches, usually about 6-8 inches long.
Inside the Bead is a Round Vinyl Tube, that has a hole in the middle, you place that Wire inside the middle of the bead (lightly grease the wire helps) and push it even with the end of the piping. After the top is secured.
You may have to tighten your cable a wee bit as well.
It will hold the bead even with the car. Some top kits come with a couple of hunks or Aluminum heavy gauge single wire (18-16 gauge).

mentions this stiffener (they say Stainless.. Aluminum works fine.)

Ahh okay thank you that makes sense hopefully it's just that, it's going back there to get sorted I think possibly one more experienced guy done the left side as that side is pretty much perfect and someone else maybe done this side and wasn't aware of these details, will keep you posted on what the conclusion is!Briano1234 said
Well the cut looks to be there, then they forgot to add the stiffener rods…
