Help please!! Conical or ball type bolts for BBS 1H0 601 025L wheels?

Post

Hi I bought a set of BBS 1H0 601 025L wheels. These come originally from a VW Golf MK3 (As you guys obviously all know … ;-) ).
I need new bolts as I am going to place them on my MK1.

I am a bit confused however, can anybody confirm whether I need conical or ball type bolts?

I've searched high and low on the interweb … nowhere I seem to find technical specs about these wheels …

thx!

Probably radius.

But I shove blutac down there to see.

My last set of wheels were tapered, which nearly caught me out.

Hi Roach!

Problem is (shame on me I know …    :( ) that I actually did not had any idea about the existance of different bolt types … I allready put in both types of bolts (without knowing), So I am affraid I am not able to see 100% sure what type of form the hole has … Maybe they are a bit formed to the bolt type I've put in there …

Pretty sure most, if not all VW wheels are Radius seat.

But like I say, just pop a bolt out, squish in some blutac and pull it out to see for sure.

Just for the record, did the above with some sealer putty. Bolts of these rims are definitely of the ball type!
Thx for the advice!

More like my wife's Grits…..
My Mom's wouldn't work as no matter what she made Cream-of-wheat, farina, grits, oatmeal… all had lumps with individual bits of liquid….. Did we complain heavens no we would of been beat to within an inch of our lives….then still had to eat it.  :)  Mom had 3 rules, beat them early, beat them often, and when in doubt? Beat them, cause they probably deserved it….. No one messed with momma.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
