what goes where??
Hi folks,
Got an 83 GTi, although Cabby's may well be similar.
Couple of questions.
Thanks in advance!

Got an 83 GTi, although Cabby's may well be similar.
Couple of questions.
- Where should the cable that controls the interior heater flow valve be routed? Does it go under the brake servo, behind it, in front…? I can't seem to find a route that looks right. For ref I have the cable coming through the bulk head at point 3 in the pic below.
- Assuming the cable does come through No3 - what the heck at numbers 1 and 2 for?? This Q is probably 83 GTi specific.
Thanks in advance!

Cheers fella, was a bit late and wet wen I got home last night. Figured you wouldn't want to be under the bonnet then!
Interesting. Can't see the heater control cable on any of those grommets. Must be another hole somewhere! I'll keep looking.
Thanks again!

Jason, page 2 of my build thread. Just after engine was taken out. Heater cable running in front of servo across to the heater valve. Second pic you can see the black cable coming through the bulkhead just below the scuttle drain.
