Heater control cables

Happy new year all!

I was installing the dash today and came up against a heater control unit with one of the fixing tabs missing and one of the cables on the left that controls the fresh air I think(?)that had splits in the sheathing so didn't work.

I think they're referred to as slider cables or EZ cables.

I've sourced a controller but couldn't find the cables for sale anywhere.

Anybody know if they're available?

I think you are talking about 37.

I have used in the past a Throttle cable off a Lawn mower that I stripped the sheath and bent the "L" shape on the end.  Worked well.

 That's exactly it Brian. Mower throttle cable, brilliant! I was trying to remember where I'd seen that sheathing before, I'll pick one up. Thanks
