Hazard lights doing what they please?!?

Hi guys,

Can someone please help me!

Recently when I've been driving the harzard lights come on randomly. I can hear a relay ticking away behind the clocks (at least that's where it sounds like its coming from).
I've currently got the dash apart but still cannot seem to locate a relay behind the clocks?

The harzards can come on at any time, I can be driving slow or fast, turning or straight… It's really starting to wind me up as I can't find the cause!

I've checked all the fuses and everything else is working as it should!

I've had a search but everyone else's problems seems to be that the hazards aren't working at all?

Perhaps check wires for nibbled bits from lights to loom.

The relay is with the fuses. The one you want is relay 12 which is the last one on the right on the first bank of relays.

If you put the hazards on you should feel the relay clicking so you know its the right one.

The hazard light switch itself could also be faulty.

currently everything I can see is disconnected yet I can still hear a relay clicking and my harzard lights are flashing.

Checked loads of wiring and earths, everything seems ok  

I take it bulbs are standard and not canbus type…
Try removing one bulb.
then other.
May be corrosion..?

mine did this and a switch replacement sorted it...
