Golf 1 rear fox lights

Hello All,

I have problem with rear fog lights on my golf mk1 1983.

Bulb lights are ok, switch also, but there is no power.
I checked fuse on position 6, it is ok. This should be for fog lights, am i right?
Also i reed on forums that relay on position 7 is for fog lights, but after adding this relay, there is no success eather.

Can someone give me some hints, how to procede?
I'm not sure that fox lights were working earlier at all, bjt now i want to get them working.

Hi, I had similar issue.....turned up to be a faulty fog light switch (think it was the ball bearing or spring missing inside the switch). I would pull the switch out and join a multimeter to test if the contacts are working. If switch is fine, then could be an internal break in the wire, so you will need to do a continuity check of the wires..... Haynes manual wiring diagram gives a good breakdown.
