Hi I have recently been having some feeling issues on my 1.8 gti and I believe I have narrowed it down to blocked fuel lines I am trying to replace them but having problems can any one help me

I also want to change my fuel lines. I saw that there is replacement kit. Its flexible and wuold be easier to install.

It's 1985 it's an injection system with fuel pump and accumulator on the underside of the car

There is also the under side and an in-tank pump that can get clogged or the interconnect hose that connects the in-tank pump to the sending unit can cause fuel limiting issues as well. There is a separate filter/sump/swrilpot that is attached to the drivers side of the fuel tank, you can only see the white bottom of it and the clip that holds it to the tank.
To inspect the tank, you have to have 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank of fuel. If it is any fuller than that you will need to siphon it out to get it to the minimum levels needed to open the tank.
There are a plethora of rubber hoses that go from the tank to the sump to the accumulator to the pumps, and plenty of vent lines as well.

I have rebuilt and replaced the intank pump because it had all perished and fell apart I replaced the pump underside and cleaned the accumulator but the fuel is still not getting to the top so have worked out it must b the pipe also the pipes have started dripping so need to be replaced
