Fuel Level Sender Unit

Hi All
Looking for a Fuel Level Sender Unit for Mk1 Cabriolet Clipper with outlets and 2 pin plug - as seen and bought wrong one under ref 171919051 - if anyone has spare or knows where to buy new or old that would be great as can’t really drive without it
photos attached of current one as mechanic broke it upon removal
Any assistance or suggestion of alternative replacement is appreciated as new to this game - cheers

That looks like a sending unit out of a Polo, as a few years back there was a how to on the conversion of the same.  

The original Golfs and Cabriolets that I have had the pleasure to drive were all metal for the sending unit, the Cabriolet with 3 pins, as I had the in-tank pump and the Diesels were all 2 pin.
