FRONT WINGS WANTED MARK 1 GOLF

HI EVERYONE IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FRONT WINGS FOR OUR VW GOLF MARK 1  REBUILD DONT MIND TRAVELING ABOUT 50 MILES FROM BIRMINGHAM BUT HOPE TO BE TRAVELING TO WEYMOUTH THIS BANK HOLL .IF THERES ANYTHING THAT WAY .BUT PLEASE I DONT WANT ANY THAT ARE TO FAR GONE I DONT MIND BIT OF WORK ON THEM BUT NOT ANY WITH HOLES IN THEM .DONT MEAN TO SOUND TO FUSSY BUT ITS BUY TWO HALF DECENT ONES ALL BUY TWO AFTER MARKET ONES .IF THEY FIT. ALSO LOOKING FOR REAR BUMPER SMALL ONE TO HELP REBUILD OUR CONVERITABLE  1986.THANKS FOR EVERY BODY WHO AS TAKEN TIME TO LOOK .MIGHT BE LOOKING FOR A GOOD LOW ISH MILES ENGINE 18 GTI. HI THANKS FOR GETTING BACK I THINK I DID SEE SOME AROUND 225 EACH YEA BIT MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY .ANY IDEA HOW THE AFTER MARKET ONES ARE LIKE FOR FITTING SEEN THEM AROUND 60 POUNDS EACH I CAN ALWAYS MAKE THE HOLE FOR SIDE REPEATERS , THANKS AGAIN

I fitted the after market wings to my mk1 caddy as I couldn't justify £220 each for them. They don't fit very well at all as they come, however with some work they can be made to fit ok. I had to elongate the holes on top to get the bonnet gap right and grind loads of metal away from the inner back edge to get them to sit flush with the door. Also had to tweak the top edge where it meets the windscreen scuttle panel to get the gaps right. Obviously make sure you trial fit them and do this work before spraying them. 

thanks someone else told me you have to make them fit i dont fancy paying 400 pound for two wings and it dont stop  at  that and haveing a 3.000 grand budget  we have to be carefull im in nor rush some might pop up on here ,and thank you once again .as you have one yourself ours did have two karman badges on it plus it as black leather seats well i think there leather have these been added or do you think its all genuine i dont know the diffrence ,thanks once again 

SOS TO BE A PAIN DO YOU KNOW IF THE TIN TOP WINGS ARE THE SAME AS THE SOFT TOP ONES ,I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON HES ONLY 12 SO WE GOT PLENTY TIME  WE BOUGHT THIS CAR BLIND ,MUST AD BEEN BLIND.WE AINT AD THE ENGINE RUNNING AS YET .FUEL PUMP AD PACKED UP ASWELL  .I AM A VW T5  MAN MYSELF I LOVE VWS . I have got a mk1 caddy pickup so don't know alot about the cabriolet. I believe the wings are all the same for the mk1 variants (golf, jetta, caddy etc) but you may need to drill a hole for the side repeater if fitted and maybe make a slot for the bumper mount. I think the leather seats are original on a karmen spec cabriolet but i know very little about them so hopefully someone else will answer that question for you.
