Front wing/body seam sealer - or not??????

Should there be seam sealer in the gap between the front wing and the front panel of the car - when looking down the side by the headlight????  As shown in red on the photos below.  When I removed the wings - which didn't appear to have been removed before I don't remember see any sealer in this gap.
