Front suspension load washer

Managed to put my front n/s suspension back together today but somehow managed to miss out the load washer that sits on top of the bump stop. How important is this washer? What are implications if it not being there?
I didn’t touch the O/S so I’m guessing the o/s DOES have the load washer.

WTH. Not sure why there are 5 posts. Tried this from Tapatalk and it said it failed. 
Now logged in via a browser and see 5 identical posts. 
I can't seem to delete them. If any admins see this could you delete the duplicate posts please.
