Front seat belt 3dr 5dr same?

Really quick one,
Are the 3dr and 5dr front seat belts the same? 

E.g can I use a 5dr front belt to replace my 3dr front belt.  

Or can I even use the cabriolet front belts?

I would suspect that if you went to the ETKA, and did  little investigation, your answers would appear.

Just cross check the body style to the models as in Golf to Cabriolet for the same years.

3-door belts are longer than 5-door, so it might be too short/long for you. I bought a pair of nos 3-door belts for my 5-door, but they were much too long.


Also 5-door belts will have part numbers starting on 173, 3door starts on 171
