Connecting fuel line to bike carbs

Good afternoon,  hopefully a quick easy one for you guys…

Just fitting some new carbs to the golf (CBR600 from DanST engineering)

On the picture below I assume the red arrow in the fuel inlet,  but on the other side there are 2 pipes on each carb,  green arrows, what on earth goes here?   Do they have to link together?

Well,  just found out so rather than leaving unanswered in case anyone else is dumb like me…  the 8 other connections are coolant on the bike and are left as they are
