Afternoon All,
Speedo not working and could hear it clicking behind the dash. So out come the clocks etc. including the steering wheel. Has had a good bit of wobble and play to the column for a while. Took the wheel off and unbolted the ignition switch bracket. I know have a footwell full of bits of shredded metal and rusty ball bearings.
Is there a kit or suggestion for which parts to replace. And as Lanzarote is not exactly rammed with suppliers, who´s a good bet for shopping with.
Many thanks.

Also not sure what you're driving but I'm kind of assuming it's a convertible so though this might be handy

Thanks for feedback.
Hi Jamie. By the spookiest of coincidences there is another Luke Hayes on Lanzarote. Even spookier, we both have brothers called Mark (his brother owns Aquadreams Spas). This is not a joke!
I´ve never done donuts so I´m assuming its the other Luke you know, although I do know a Zac.
Anyways, in my case it´s the top bearing thats gone. Bottom one seems OK although I may do both to be on the safe side.

if its the upper bit in the ignition lock housing you cant get it seperate, so you need the lot. pre-90 mk2 golf ones are the same. to swap your lock drill a 3mm hole like so, and poke something pokey into it to release the lock:
