Caliper guide pins

Ran into another of those call it a night bummers The threads in the caliper carrier is M10, but the shorter guide pin I bought is only 8.6mm and barely grips the threads in the carrier. The longer pin is M10 and fits. They are from the same set, should they not be M10 both..??

The Caliper pins are different lengths, can't remember which is top and which is the bottom…

longer on top, shorter on bottom. Both should be the same M number though.



 

Yeah that's what I though, they should both be M10. New pins and another week of waiting it is…
